How could we be so late on this incredible Chance Fischer project? Just in time for his Epic Fest 2012 performance Chance Fischer released Epic Week, a five track EP full of lyrical greatness. While receiving much love from various blogs on this effort Epic Week proves to be well worth its listen and even leaves listeners wanting more.
Beginning with "Elevation", a Kleph Dollaz production, Fischer does exactly as his hook says and raises the bar in the Hip Hop community. Followed by "Fortuna", featuring Richmond, Virginia vocalist Garnett Boldin, Epic Week takes a smooth turn reminiscent to D'Angelo in his prime. "Tantalize" produced by DJ Grumble shows the more erotic side of Chance Fischer as he directs his dialect to the various ladies that interest him. "One Percent" brings back the infamous Chance Fischer/Kleph Dollaz collaboration with a 49 second teaser that leads into the final record of Epic Week, "Mayhem". "Mayhem" showcases producer and artist Sammus and ends Epic Week on a gritty note. Over all Epic Week seems to be a flawless project combined with spectacular production, classic lines, and immaculate delivery from Chance Fischer and friends. Support this Virginia artist and look out out for more on Chance Fischer.
